Learners practice verifying activity, evaluating changing conditions, operating camera tools, capturing evidence, documenting facts, communicating updates, and responding as new information develops.

Learners will explore alarm verification and video event verification, real-time event evaluation, PTZ camera use, latency awareness, subject framing, evidence preservation, resolution codes, AVS-01 alarm validation scoring, ASAP Service, ECC communication, fair evaluation, and clear, fact-based descriptions of people and vehicles.

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  1. Manage the video monitoring process from initial alert review through event closure.
  2. Compare alarm verification and video event verification.
  3. Apply real-time evaluation using site context, observed facts, and procedure.
  4. Use platform tools, PTZ camera controls, and latency awareness to support event review.
  5. Capture, store, document, code, and report event information accurately.
